The original Burn Works were started in 1990 and registered at the United States Copyright Office on October  9th. (Registration #VAu 192-685)  This included CBF 1 through 4 and CBF 5A and 5B.  In 1991 I completed a few more works before having to give up the process for a couple of years.  "A couple of years" extended to over a decade and a half.

Both pieces untitled. After having less access to facilities where I could complete burn works I continued to work on the floor of my apartment producing paintings on raw canvas.  I intended to mount them on canvas or silk backing.  I never mounted or displayed any of these pieces until now.  Here are two of them, appropriately hanging in storage.  Click on image to see more of these works.
